My name is Laura, I am 20 years old and I am from the UK. I'm a Northener, but I don't really sound like one, apart from the fact that I say 'bath' instead of 'barrrth'! I'm currently studying Animation at university, which I adore, because I love the idea of breathing life into a static image using nothing more than time itself.
I decided to make this blog back in August 2013, so I've been bloggin' around these parts for about three years now. I really enjoy it, as it's a creative outlet for me - I just love making things, whether they are virtual online blog posts or handmade crafty things, which I can then feature on my blog haha!
I called my blog 'Camis and Cushions' because I initially wanted it to be a fashion and home design blog. And I thought it was a catchy name, what with the alliteration and everything! I've kind of done better on the fashion side than the home side in terms of posts, but there are times when I want to post about other things, like events that I go to, or music I've been loving, or even amazing bargains I've discovered on the high street. So, my blog doesn't really have a strict niche - it's kinda just a mixture of lots of things!
